  • Access your student's grades in GradeBook!

    Create an account or existing users may login to register your child for school or see student's grades.

    Parent Portal- Check Grades Here

    To set up your account, click new user.

    Step 1:  Assign yourself a User Name using 6-9 digits as described.  Then assign yourself a password, confirm your password, and type in your e-mail address.

    Step 2:  Answer a hint question (in case you forget your password later).

    Step 3:  Enter the Portal ID number and the birthdate of the student.

    After you've set up your account, you may change information or add your other children to your account by going to the "My Account" tab.

    1. Access your student's STAAR results. Dig deeper to find ways to help your child achieve success.
    2. Compare results from previous STAAR assessments.
    3. View school-wide assessment results.

    To log in and view your child's assessment results, enter the six-character Unique Access Code and the date of birth that appears on their most recent STAAR Report Card. The code must be entered exactly as it appears.

    What should my child be learning?

    Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS)

    This site will provide you with information on the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), which are the state standards for what students should know and be able to do.

    1. Select the content area you would like to learn about (i.e. math, science, etc.) first. 
    2. Find the appropriate grade level within the document. 
    3. Click on the blue dot to view the TEKS for that grade level. ​

    Ask your child's teacher or school librarian for help if you would like to understand this document better!

  • According the DSHS website, the School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) is a group appointed by the school district to serve at the district level.
