Wellness Resources and Grocery Assistance- ENDEAVORS Program Out of Uvalde

Hello from Library Land--
*Wellness Resources- 
ENDEAVORS dropped off the mindful chair and massage chair today. They will both be available at the library until July 8th. If you are a staff member, please feel free to utilize this resource using your staff card to enter. If you are a parent or community member, please text 662-315-5515 to schedule an appointment or come during open hours Monday-Friday 9am-2pm. 

*Food Assistance- 
The free summer feed program has ended, but there are still local resources available. Please contact city hall if your family would benefit from a food box at this time. They have a few extras on hand. Don't forget: 
-WIC- Thursday, July 9th @ Presbyterian Church
-San Antonio Food Bank Delivery- Friday, July 10th @ Fairgrounds
-SFB Senior Citizen Box Delivery- Tuesday, July 14th @ City Hall
-Grocery Assistancethrough Endeavors- Qualifications below. You must contact their office to complete the intake process in order to apply for grocery assistance. 

-Endeavors will be at the library on Wednesday, July 8th from 11AM-1PM to meet with community members about their health and wellness resources. They are also so excited to deliver the grocery assistance to at least 20 families that qualify. Call Today! 

*Utilities Assistance- WATER 
If you are over 60, Community Council of South Central Texas has some funding for paying a water bill for you! This is age based assistance, not income based assistance. Therefore, if you have not qualified for their electric assistance in the past, you can still get this. You do have to complete the Utility Assistance packet if you have not already completed it this year. Stop by the library or city hall if you need a packet. 
Chelsea with CCSCT will be at the library to take new applications and answer any questions that you may have on Thursday, July 9th.
